The Little Blue index (LBI) is the current measure of our client cost saving performance, based on a ratio of actual client cost savings against client spend with Little Blue

The index is updated monthly from appropriate projects with a cost saving focus and features latest month and year to date performance statistics. There is comment on the details behind the latest month performance and links to the actual case study details. When the ratio is positive (first number bigger than the second) Little Blue is saving clients' money !

February comment

February has been a very successful month for the LBI - we were able to reduce a client's planned spend on a new ACD/Unified messaging/Switch upgrade by 56%. The new telephony infrastructure will support a new multimedia Contact Centre and the saving has already been reapplied to further improve agent infrastructure and facilities. 

This saving was not achieved by simply squeezing the supplier for a better deal, but by empowering the client to clearly understand their actual operational requirements through dispelling the peripheral "chatter" clouding the real issues. 

Using standard Little Blue statistical and business case analysis methodologies, the combined client and Little Blue project team was able to recommend an alternative and appropriate technical solution which was accepted by the steering group.

Through working closely with both the client and the incumbent telephony supplier, Little Blue has been able to build a solution which leaves, client, users and supplier happy with the functionality and both client and supplier happy with the deal struck.
